The packaging is biodegradable and the paper used 100% recycled. Proudly produced in Dorset, England.
I produced these designs whilst on holiday in Cornwall this summer. But the designs themselves had been lingering in my mind for ages... Joli was named after a lovely shop in Cowes. Emma the owner had long been asking me to produce a coastal themed collection of cards and my brother Chris lives in Cowes and loves sailing, so this one's for both of them! Down in Sennen we had the most delicious feast of fish and prawns cooked on our little smokey joe bbq. As I've said before, I wish I could keep a diary to encapsulate all my happy memories but somehow I find creating images works best for me... Something Fishy sums up that time in Sennen (fish, sea, fun, friends, hula hooping and music). Hugh Dunford Wood (http://www.handmadewallpaper.co.uk/) was incredibly patient whilst introducing me to the exciting world of handmade wallpaper. I struggled with a half drop repeat design of bamboo leaves but enjoyed the experience so much I wanted to create a design that reminded me of that weekend. He lives and works in Lyme Regis, hence my design Jurassic Coast. And Oystercatchers? They're just great birds!
